The Tilt-Up Concrete Association Releases the "Architecture of Tilt-Up - Office" Third Edition, Book 1

“The Architecture of Tilt-Up” 3rd edition has been re-imagined as a series of individually bound sections presenting project case studies organized by building type.

The Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) has announced the public availability of the “The Architecture of Tilt-Up - Office.”

“The Architecture of Tilt-Up” 3rd edition has been re-imagined as a series of individually bound sections presenting project case studies organized by building type. With each book, readers will find a quick introduction to tilt-up followed by education related to a specific building type, along with an impressive collection of representative projects.

Book 1, which is available now, focuses on the application of the tilt-up construction method for office projects. “The use of tilt-up on office projects is not new,” says Mitch Bloomquist, executive director for TCA. “However, designs presented in this book have inspired markets across the country to re-evaluate their understanding of tilt-up’s role for this building type.”

The book presents 17 case studies, including both low and mid-rise projects along with the specific benefits of tilt-up related to office construction.
