Manning Equipment Inc., Dual-Tech Inc. and Iowa Mold Tooling Co. are recalling Ford Super Duty trucks they’ve modified to address potential oil leaks associated with Muncie Power Products PTO (power take-off) assemblies.
Oil might leak from the PTO pressure switch onto a thermal blanket covering the exhaust. This condition poses a fire risk, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports.
The recall affects 73 2009-to-2014 model-year Ford F350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty trucks.
