According to an article from The Real Deal magazine website, New York has seen eight people killed in construction-related accidents so far in 2015. That's as many as all of 2014 and the highest number of fatalities since 2008.
In addition to the increasing number of construction-related fatalities, the total number of construction accidents in New York rose 24 percent in 2014 to 231 accidents.
