The ITS Flagging Baton posts a GPS location and flagger activity to XML feeds for access by transportation devices and major navigation data services.

Sensor placed inside flagging pole detects and sends flagger location, helping keep them safe from traveling public
Upon activation of the Flagging Baton:
Transmits location and ‘ON’ status.
Status posted to XML within 5 minutes.
Transmits flagging hold times every 10 minutes.
Re-transmits location and status if the beacon moves more than 300 ft.
Detects when paddle is laid down or traveling at vehicle speeds without being turned off.
Rechargeable battery with 80 hour service life
