Crew Collaborative will expand its workforce development efforts at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, where the nonprofit has been named a featured nonprofit partner.
The organization focuses on strengthening the blue-collar workforce and reshaping perceptions of careers in construction through education, events and community engagement. Its connection to CONEXPO-CON/AGG dates back to 2020, when online conversations among construction professionals evolved into in-person meetings during the Las Vegas trade show.
Co-founder Kristina McMillan shares in an article that the massive trade show has become a catalyst for uniting contractors, manufacturers, educators and students around workforce responsibility.
Since its founding, Crew Collaborative has reached thousands of high school students nationwide through classroom discussions about construction career pathways. The group also trains industry professionals — from field employees to executives — to engage directly with local schools and youth programs.
As part of its 2026 presence, Crew is seeking sponsorship support to offset participation costs and fund student-focused outreach tied to the show. The organization plans to host a pop-up networking event March 5 from 4–6 p.m. at CasBar in the Sahara during CONEXPO-CON/AGG.
McMillan wrote that while equipment and technology drive industry progress, long-term workforce solutions depend on sustained engagement at the community level.
CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, held in Las Vegas, will once again bring together construction professionals from across sectors — offering Crew Collaborative a platform to continue expanding its national workforce initiatives.
