Georgia's state Senate voted 40-7 in favor of changes the House of Representatives made to a P3 bill, and now the legislation moves on to Governor Nathan Deal. The P3 bill has been in the works for three years and would allow state agencies and local governments to partner with the private sector to finance and construct public buildings. The state already allows public-private partnerships for highway projects.
