Fort Worth is planning to build a 110-acre, nearly $1 billion data center project that would include a four-building complex in the Alliance Texas development near Interstate 35W. While no one has said who will use the 750,000-square-foot data center, it seems the planning team is hoping to lure Facebook to the development.
The architect and engineering firm for the North Fort Worth data center are the same companies that worked on Facebook's recently opened Iowa facility.
