16 States Have Boosted Transportation Funding So Far in 2015

Legislation in these states includes bonds, vehicle sales tax increases, fuel tax increases, and redirecting existing funds or taxes to help pay for infrastructure construction

One-third of the states have taken action so far in 2015 to boost transportation funding or shore up their road and bridge funds against excepted declines in tax revenues. Those states include:

  • Louisiana
  • Maine
  • Mississippi
  • Nebraska
  • Nevada
  • North Carolina
  • South Dakota
  • Texas
  • Utah
  • Washington
