US, China and India to Lead Global Construction Output Growth through 2030

Three countries expected to account for 57% of world's new construction output through 2030

A new report from Global Construction Perspectives and Oxford Economics predicts that worldwide construction output will balloon 85% — or $15.5 trillion — by 2030. The United States, China and India are expected to account for 57% of new construction output during the next 15 years.

The Global Construction 2030 report also estimates that growth in U.S. construction activity will outpace China over the next 15 years, growing by an average of 5% each year.
