Larry Davis of DCM Erectors Inc. was found guilty on charges of wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Davis is owner of the Canadian construction company which had nearly $1 billion worth of contractors to do construction work at the world Trade Center.

According to prosecutors, Davis used two purported minority- or women-owned firms as prints and paid kickbacks to their principals to sign papers submitted to the Port Authority while the work was actually performed by DCM or another company Davis was close to.

Davis and DCM denied any wrongdoing and claims the subcontractors did the work that was promised. The principals of the of the two businesses prosecutors said participated in the scheme with Davis pled guilty in 2014.

Davis's sentencing is scheduled for November 15.
