Although the site of the new FBI headquarters has yet to be determined, the General Services Administration (GSA) is starting the process to seek construction management firms to help build the new headquarters. The GSA projects the job will last five years with five one-year extension options.
The GSA will issue a request for proposals around January 20, 2107, for aspects of the project including budget and finance, programming presentations, reports, purchasing studies and contracting documentation.
The GSA will announce the selected site for the new headquarters and the development team in early March.
