Chryso, part of Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals, has launched the Adfil Strux 3000 Series — a new line of macro synthetic fibers designed to deliver uniform 3D reinforcement for a wide range of concrete applications, including slab-on-ground, precast, elevated decks and tunnel linings.
The new line debuts with two products, Adfil Strux 3040 and Adfil Strux 3032. Both feature a flat-packed puck format that nearly triples pallet storage capacity, improves transportation efficiency and simplifies handling while eliminating corrosion risk.
According to Chryso North America Market Development Manager Christopher Roumie, incorporating Adfil’s fiber expertise advances the company’s concrete reinforcement capabilities.
The Strux 3000 Series offers several key benefits:
- Enhanced finishability and smoother surfaces suitable for multiple applications.
- Reduced packaging waste and lower freight emissions with box-free pucks.
- A smaller carbon footprint compared to steel reinforcement.
Like previous Strux products, the 3000 Series can replace welded wire fabric and light rebar, improving jobsite safety and reducing labor needs while increasing durability and long-term crack control.
The launch follows Chryso’s integration of the Adfil brand earlier this year, expanding its portfolio of fiber reinforcement technologies engineered for performance, efficiency and sustainability.
