Trimble revealed several major product updates and AI advancements at its annual Dimensions 2025 user conference, focusing on improving collaboration, interoperability, and automation across construction workflows. Here are five key takeaways:

1. ProjectSight 360 Capture Brings Reality Capture to Project Management

Trimble introduced ProjectSight 360 Capture, a new feature that integrates 360-degree imagery directly into project management workflows. The tool allows contractors to record panoramic images on the jobsite, which are automatically processed and mapped to project drawings using AI.

Project teams can use the platform to perform virtual walkthroughs, track progress and connect visual data to tasks such as change orders and RFIs. All information is stored in Trimble Connect’s common data environment, linking the office and field through one platform.

2. Trimble Marketplace Expands With AI and Workflow Automation

The Trimble Marketplace — home to more than 100 verified integrations — was expanded with new solutions for Trimble Connect and ProjectSight. The updates include integrations powered by large language models (LLMs) that help automate repetitive administrative tasks like drawing imports and metadata extraction.

Among the additions is an integration with Datagrid, which enables AI agents to execute search and task functions within ProjectSight, reducing manual data entry and improving efficiency across project teams.

3. Agentic AI Platform and Trimble Labs Push Intelligent Automation

Trimble showcased its agentic AI platform, a framework for building and deploying intelligent agents across its software ecosystem. The platform — piloted as Trimble Agent Studio — supports the creation of AI-driven workflows to help users analyze data and automate tasks securely and at scale.

New AI assistants and features are being tested through Trimble Labs, the company’s early-access program. These include the ProjectSight Help Agent, AI Title Block Extraction, and Auto-Submittals, as well as upcoming tools for SketchUp, Tekla and Trimble Unity.

4. Trimble Financials Simplifies Job Costing for Small Contractors

Trimble launched Trimble Financials, an AI-enhanced financial management tool aimed at small-business contractors. The platform helps users track budgets, job costs and cash flow through simple dashboards and built-in AI assistance.
Contractors can ask the system questions such as “Which client has the largest outstanding invoice?” or “How are actual costs comparing to the budget?” to quickly access insights. The software is designed for smaller firms that need financial clarity without the complexity of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

5. WorksManager Adds ISO Data Exchange and 3D Visualization

The latest Trimble WorksManager update introduces design sharing that supports the ISO 15143-4 worksite data exchange standard. This update allows contractors to send design files across different equipment brands, advancing interoperability on mixed-fleet jobsites.Trimble WorksManagerTrimble WorksManagerTrimble

The software now integrates more tightly with Trimble Connect and includes a new 3D visualization module that merges geospatial data from multiple sources into a single environment. Additional updates enhance integration with B2W software for estimating, scheduling, and resource tracking, improving coordination between the office and the field.

Together, these announcements reflect Trimble’s focus on connecting construction workflows through open data, automation and AI-driven decision-making.
