Among the many hospitality suites at NPE 2011 in Nashville was the 1-800-PAVEMENT event, hosted by Mike Musto. 1-800-PAVEMENT used the occasion of NPE to bring together more than 100 of its members for the annual reception featuring management tips from Grow Consulting's Guy Gruenberg, special members-only drawings, awarding of new leads, and great food.

Graco introduced its new RoadPak Striping System which enables contractors to customize the RoadLazer long-line striping system. This modular striping system is available in 8 predesigned configurations – or contractors can select features and design their own.

The folks from Titan Labs always are decked out in their white lab coats to teach contractors about the company's line of tar and asphalt removers.

Unveiled on the first day of NPE's Exhibit Floor was Schwarze Industries' S350 4.5-cu.-yd. parking lot sweeper, which replaces the 348 model.

Tymco chose NPE 2011 to introduce its single-engine Model 210h regenerative air sweeper featuring the hDrive hydraulic power system.

Pavement Advisory Board member Don Rooney, Pioneer Paving & Grading, worked contractors through driveway construction from bottom to top, then teamed up with Chec Management Systems' James Curtis to teach "Warm Mix Asphalt and Its Impact on Your Paving Operation."
