DEVELON has expanded its presence in the Southeast with two new dealerships in South Carolina through a partnership with The Ironpeddlers. The Duncan location will serve the Greenville and Spartanburg areas, while a new store in Florence will cover the northeast and central regions of the state.
The Ironpeddlers will offer DEVELON heavy and compact equipment, including dozers, articulated dump trucks, and “intelligent” excavators and dozers with integrated 2D and 3D capabilities. Ben Miller, CEO of The Ironpeddlers, cited DEVELON’s product lineup and parts distribution center in Suwanee, Georgia, as key factors in the partnership.
DEVELON’s senior director of dealer development, Morgan Stallings, said the partnership will help expand the company’s footprint in the Southeast. Founded in 1974 in Monroe, North Carolina, The Ironpeddlers operates six locations in the Carolinas and a parts-only site in Kentucky.
