EcoMax Crane Pads from DICA combines the strength of steel with the long-lasting durability of engineered composite materials to deliver exceptional load distribution, reliability and safety for crane operations. Designed to serve as a cost-effective and performance-driven alternative to timber mats and solid steel pads, EcoMax leverages an innovative hybrid design that addresses the needs of crane operators working in diverse environments.
EcoMax stands alone in the market due to its hybrid construction, which creates a true engineered alternative to traditional wood and steel pads. Unlike timber mats held together with through-bolts, EcoMax features a rigid body where composite timbers and I-beams work as a unified structure to improve load distribution and prevent internal shifting. EcoMax provides a longer service life and better long-term ROI compared to traditional options.
EcoMax is a 24 sq. ft. crane pad rated for a maximum capacity of 160,000 lbs. (80 tons), and is designed for cranes up to 150-tons. The pads are constructed with a combination of structural steel I-beams and engineered composite timbers. The pads also include a built-in center plate to guide outrigger float placement and integrated lifting lugs for secure handling and stacking. A non-slip SafetyTexture coating on the steel components improves grip and surface safety. EcoMax supports two rating conditions: a standard capacity for fully supported applications and a Bridge Rating for scenarios where support is limited beneath the center of the pad.
