FAE has introduced the RWL/SSL wheel saw, a new attachment for skid steers designed for trenching electric, water, gas and fiber optic lines.
The RWL/SSL is compatible with skid steers from 50 to 75 horsepower and can cut channels up to 14 inches deep with modular widths of 1, 1.2 or 2 inches. A depth indicator helps manage cut depth, while self-leveling skids and a side output are intended to keep trenches clean of waste material.
The attachment can be paired with the Basic WSS water spray system to reduce dust and cool the teeth. Hydraulic and electrical configurations are designed for plug-and-play use with leading skid steer models. The RWL/SSL also features teeth engineered for asphalt and concrete surfaces.
