Hyundai Adds HW100A Compact Wheeled Excavator to Lineup

HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America announced that it will be adding the HW100A to its wheeled excavator lineup.

The HW100A is 25,221 lbs. (11,440 kg) and the rest of the lineup of wheeled excavators ranges from the R55W-9A at 12,240 lbs. (5,552 kg) to the 46,690 lbs. (21,178 kg) HW210A.

• Digging depth of 13 ft. 11 in. (4.24 m).
• 101 net hp (75 kW).
• 360-degree swing capability.
• Designed for road and bridge work, roadside projects, and other jobs where the ability to move on paved surfaces is critical.
• A spacious cab with a full-length glass door.
• A heated, air-suspension seat, and other comfort-related features.
• Comes standard with right and rearview cameras, an LED light package, etc.
• Has the options of AAVM (all-around view monitoring) and rear radar for added.
• Maximum speed of 24 mph (39 kph).

• The one-way setting lets operators control boom and bucket operation independently for precision tasks like leveling and fine grading.

• The lifting setting works best for applications that involve lifting, moving, and placing heavy objects or materials for sanitation and utility work.
