KOBELCO Construction Machinery USA has introduced the SK850LC-11, an 85-ton crawler excavator designed for large-scale earthmoving, material handling and heavy lifting applications.
The excavator combines high digging performance with fuel-saving features such as hydraulic regeneration, ECO mode, auto idle stop and auto engine deceleration. The machine delivers digging force of 90,598 lbf and arm force of 61,148 lbf.
The SK850LC-11 features KOBELCO's Independent Travel function, which allows operators to travel, lift and swing simultaneously by dedicating separate hydraulic pumps to travel and implement functions. Standard features include a retractable undercarriage, LED work lights, a Level II FOPS cab guard, reversible cooling fan and a three-camera system with a 270-degree machine view.
Inside the cab, operators have access to a heated air-suspension seat, a 10-inch color monitor, adjustable hydraulic attachment settings and Bluetooth connectivity. The excavator also comes equipped with KOBELCO's KOMEXS telematics system and K-LOAD weighing system.
