DEVELON has expanded its -9 Series crawler excavator lineup with the 33-metric-ton DX300LC-9, designed for production-heavy applications including mass earthmoving, site development, utility work, demolition, quarrying and material handling.
The DX300LC-9 delivers 115 horsepower, increased lifting power and a fully electro-hydraulic control system. DEVELON says the -9 Series can provide up to 8% better fuel efficiency than previous models. The excavator also incorporates technology intended to improve productivity, safety and machine monitoring.
The excavator can be equipped with DEVELON’s Smart Around View Monitor and Human Detection System, which combines six cameras, radar sensors and AI-based detection to provide visibility around the machine.
Inside the cab, a 12-inch touchscreen provides access to machine settings, including climate controls, power modes and hydraulic flow for attachments. A dual-monitor configuration is also available.
The DX300LC-9 also features Prognostics and Health Management technology that monitors engine oil, hydraulic fluid, the main pump and swing motor. An optional system adds vibration and pressure sensors for additional real-time diagnostics.
The DX300LC-9 joins the DX230LC-9, DX260LC-9, DX360LC-9 and DX400LC-9 in the growing -9 Series. DEVELON plans to expand the lineup across North America as it replaces its previous -7 Series excavators.
