The WA380-8 wheel loader has a 191-hp Komatsu SAA6D107E-3 6.69-liter, aftercooled, Tier 4 Final-certified engine, variable geometry turbocharger and auto idle shutdown feature that enable up to 6% less fuel consumption vs. its Tier 4 Interim predecessor.

• Uses Komatsu Diesel Particulate Filter (KDPF) and a selective catalyst reduction (SCR) assembly with diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) to meet Tier 4 Final
• SmartLoader Logic software combines with a lockup torque converter to provide optimal engine torque for improved acceleration, hill climbing, higher top speed and fuel savings
• Advanced electronic control system manages air-flow rate, fuel injection, combustion parameters and aftertreatment functions
• Auto idle shutdown
• Air suspension, high-back, heated seat with seat-mounted electronic pilot control levers with F-N-R switch
