Briggs & Stratton’s Vanguard will feature its commercial gas engines, battery technology and the new MiniZ electric tracked loader at Equip Expo 2025 in Louisville, Kentucky, October 22–24. The brand will appear at Briggs & Stratton’s indoor booth #5016 and outdoor demo area #6480D.
The MiniZ is a compact electric tracked loader built for landscaping, demolition and agriculture. Powered by Vanguard’s robust Fi7.0 lithium-ion battery, the loader delivers instant torque and a 900-pound lifting capacity. Its diecast aluminum battery casing protects against impact, vibration, moisture, and dirt, while providing over six hours of runtime. A built-in Battery Management System ensures safe operation and easy recharging from a standard 110-volt outlet.
The display will also highlight BIG BLOCK engine upgrades, featuring improved cooling, enhanced cold-start performance, and increased reliability. Attendees can see the full lineup of single-cylinder horizontal shaft engines and Briggs & Stratton XR Series models.
On the battery side, Vanguard will showcase swappable and fixed lithium-ion packs, including the 1.5 kWh Si1.5 Commercial Battery Pack. Connected via a mobile app, these batteries provide live status updates, performance data, and firmware updates. The Si1.5’s quick-swap design minimizes downtime, and the exhibit will also feature the Fi3.5, Fi5.0, and Fi7.0 models in multiple configurations. All Vanguard batteries carry an eight-year limited commercial warranty.
Visitors can also test maintenance skills in the Quick Change Challenge, a hands-on competition with Briggs & Stratton CXi engines.
