John Deere developed the Integrated Emissions Control system, an optimized aftertreatment solution, to meet Tier 4 Final regulations in certain power categories.
- Three Integrated Emissions Control system configurations
- 48 to 74 hp power range: exhaust filter that contains a diesel oxidation catalyst/diesel particulate filter (DOC/DPF) without cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) or selective catalytic reduction (SCR)
- 75 to 140 hp power range: PowerTech PWL 4.5L engine equipped with cooled EGR and an Integrated Emissions Control system configured with SCR and a DOC
- 125 hp and above power range: Integrated Emissions Control system consisting of cooled EGR, a DOC/DPF and SCR
- Allows engines to utilize less diesel exhaust fluid (DEF)
- Monitored and controlled by proprietary electronics within the engine control unit
- Engines will operate efficiently with traditional ultra low-sulfur diesel and biodiesel 5% to 20% (B5-B20) blends
- CONEXPO-CON/AGG Booth #83718
