Hitachi's New 'Core Parts Promise' Program Promises Quick Replacement Parts for Production-class Equipment

Six Hitachi excavators qualify for the program, which features an in-stock guarantee on critical, quickly-installed production-class parts and a next-day delivery promise for major components

Hitachi Construction Machinery – Americas launched the “Core Parts Promise” program at CONEXPO-CON/AGG. The dealer stock program promises quick parts replacements for Hitachi’s production-class excavators and is designed to maximize efficiency and uptime for Hitachi owners and operators.

Six Hitachi excavators (the ZX470LC-5, ZX470LC-6, ZX670LC-5, ZX670LC-6, ZX870LC-5 and ZX870LC-6) qualify for the program, which features an in-stock guarantee on critical, quickly-installed production-class parts and a next-day delivery promise for major components.

“Our customers are Hitachi To The Core because they get what they expect from our equipment, and this program helps them to make good on jobsite promises to customers every day,” said Craig Steinhauser, division manager of customer support for Hitachi Construction Machinery – Americas. “We know these size excavators are critical to a high-production operation. Through the Core Parts Promise, our customers can rest assured that critical parts are available to resume production as quickly as possible.”

Participating Hitachi dealers are offering the Core Parts Promise to customers in the United States and Canada. The program consists of two components:

Critical parts that can down a machine and be installed within three hours will be available the same day from the participating Hitachi dealer – or the part is free. This includes parts such as hydraulic hoses, starters, alternators, water pumps, injectors, switches, relief valves and more.
On major parts and components, such as engines, transmissions or motors, Hitachi promises it can get the parts to customers the next day, or shipping is free.

Along with its dedicated dealer network, Hitachi has strategically located parts depots across North America that stand ready to assist. All depots are connected by an online inventory system, giving customers a superior level of product support.

“Our dealers' parts expertise and access to our extensive parts distribution network ensures minimal downtime if you do need to replace a part. Time is money,” said Steinhauser.
