Digga Names Vearl Collins as Vice President & GM

Collins will head North American operation and help grow the US and Canadian markets

Digga North America, a manufacturer of auger, anchor and foundation drive systems for high flow construction tool carriers, has named construction industry specialist, Vearl Collins as it’s new vice president and general manager.

According to Digga CEO, Suzie Wright, “Vearl is the perfect match to lead our North American operation. He is well recognized in our industry and his sales and management background will be a huge asset to Digga as we grow our business in the US and Canadian markets”.

Although Collins is known for many achievements in the construction industry, he is best known for being the founder and owner of ENTEK Manufacturing, a San Antonio, Texas based company that sold and manufactured tractor attachments for the heavy equipment industry. He was CEO of ENTEK from 1984 to 2005 when he sold the company to a private equity group. He remained CEO of the company until 2008, when the company was sold to Rockland Manufacturing, where he continues to consult for them as a member of their board of directors.

During his tenure with ENTEK he built the company into a preferred vendor for Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu and other equipment dealer groups throughout the U.S. and Canada.
