FAE has expanded the versatility of its RCU75 remote-controlled tracked carrier by introducing a new SAE universal attachment plate. This addition allows the RCU75 to operate a wide range of equipment originally designed for skid steers, broadening its potential applications beyond FAE’s proprietary attachments.
In addition to FAE tools such as forestry mulchers, stump cutters, and road planers, the RCU75 can now be paired with third-party tools like chippers, sprayers, winches, trenchers, and more. This update positions the RCU75 as a flexible solution for demanding work in areas like wooded terrain, steep slopes, and infrastructure corridors such as pipelines, railroads, and highways.
The RCU75 is powered by a 74 hp Rehlko (Kohler) common rail engine that meets strict emissions standards. Its heavy-duty undercarriage, high-traction rubber tracks, and optional steel tracks enable stable operation on slopes up to 55°. A dual hydrostatic transmission system ensures smooth, simultaneous operation of both tracks and attachments.
Operators control the machine via a remote unit with a 4.3-inch display and customizable controls, supported by a reliable 2.4 GHz transmission frequency. The unit is also compatible with the FAE app, which provides real-time performance data, diagnostics, and maintenance alerts.
FAE’s universal attachment plate will also be available on its larger remote-controlled model, the RCU120, expanding equipment compatibility across its tracked carrier lineup.
