CASE Construction Equipment has introduced four new mini excavators designed for ease of transport, operation and maintenance — offering a compact, powerful solution for small-scale and confined jobsite work. The new lineup includes three diesel-powered models and one electric machine, giving contractors more flexibility in matching equipment to specific job needs.
The additions to the CASE D Series mini excavator lineup include:
- CX12D: An ultra-compact 11.8-hp machine weighing 2,932 lbs.
- CX19D: A 4,145-lb model with 18.4 hp
- CX25EV: A 5,159-lb electric model with 32.3 kWh of battery power
- CX60D: A 59.4-hp, 13,162-lb machine for more demanding work
All four models are built for jobsites where space is limited, featuring zero or minimal tail swing and easy-to-use controls. They also prioritize attachment versatility, with multiple auxiliary hydraulic circuits and optional quick couplers available.

Smaller Machines, Greater Efficiency
The CX12D offers a straightforward design that’s easy to maneuver through tight spaces like gates and narrow access points. Its lightweight profile and efficient operation make it ideal for smaller-scale trenching, light digging and landscape work.
Moving up in size, the CX19D adds more hydraulic power and options for cab comfort, including a heated cab or canopy. It supports a range of attachments such as hammers, compactors, augers, and tilt-rotators, making it suitable for more demanding tasks.
All-Electric Power with the CX25EV
For work in areas where noise or emissions must be minimized — such as indoors or in residential zones — the CX25EV offers a quiet, emissions-free solution. The machine is powered by a 32.3 kWh battery and features customizable electrohydraulic controls, up to three auxiliary circuits and compatibility with a wide range of attachments.
CX60D: Big Power in a Compact Frame
Topping the new lineup in size and capability, the CX60D provides 6-ton class performance with features aimed at operator comfort and jobsite versatility. The model includes a long arm, thumb-ready design, six-way blade compatibility, auto climate control, an air-suspension seat and an LCD monitor for machine data and customization.
More Options for Tight Jobsites
With the addition of these four models, CASE continues to grow its compact equipment lineup, adding more power, versatility and user-friendly features across multiple size classes. The new mini excavators join the existing CX42D and CX50D models and are designed to help contractors, rental houses and municipalities match equipment to specific project needs with greater precision.
