Vermeer has launched the HG4000TX horizontal grinder, a tracked version of its popular HG4000 model. Designed for challenging jobsites, the HG4000TX delivers high-capacity grinding with enhanced mobility and optional integrated technology.

The machine is powered by a 536-hp CAT C13B T4F/Stage V diesel engine and features a 42-in × 60-in feed opening, Series III duplex drum and heavy-duty infeed system to handle large materials with ease.

Technology for Efficiency

Optional tech upgrades include an onboard mulch coloring system that eliminates the need for extra equipment and adjusts dye and water flow automatically. A productivity monitoring system tracks material volume and fuel consumption in real time, viewable onsite or via the VermeerOne Fleet dashboard.

Smart Design for the Jobsite

The tracked undercarriage improves maneuverability on rough terrain and reduces handling needs. Additional features include EcoIdle engine control, intelligent feed system, wireless remote operation and optional Damage Defense to detect and stop feed in case of metal contact.

With jobsite mobility, strong performance, and smart features, the HG4000TX offers a powerful, flexible solution for mulch producers, land clearing contractors and biomass operations.
