John Deere has introduced the 850 X-Tier Dozer, featuring dual-path electric drive for simplified power delivery and reduced machine complexity. The new model builds on John Deere’s E-Drive legacy with improved torque, fuel efficiency and service access through a tilting cab. For added peace of mind, eligible 850 X-Tier machines come with up to 84 months/15,000 hours of E-Drive component coverage.
Operator comfort and visibility are also enhanced, with a redesigned cab offering 14% more glass, ergonomic controls and John Deere’s Advanced Vision System.
In addition, the 700, 750, and 850 P-Tier Dozers now feature advanced SmartGrade capabilities, including EZGrade, 2D grade control and optional 3D SmartGrade for improved grading precision. Upgrades like larger touchscreen displays, Auto-Load and Carry and enhanced climate control aim to simplify operation and boost productivity across varied job conditions.
These new models target heavy earthmoving, grading and site prep applications where power, precision and operator comfort are key.
