Milwaukee Tool has introduced six outdoor striking tools aimed at general contractors and outdoor professionals.

The lineup includes 8-lb. and 10-lb. sledge hammers, a 5-lb. pick mattock, an 8-lb. splitting maul, a 36-in. splitting axe and a 5-lb. splitting wedge.

The sledges, mattock and maul feature SECURESTRIKE head-to-handle connections, steel-reinforced fiberglass handles and SHOCKSHIELD grips designed to reduce vibration. The 36-in. splitting axe includes a beveled blade for wood splitting and stainless steel overstrike protection, while the splitting wedge features forged steel construction and wide wings to help separate rounds.
Several tools include tether-ready handles with reinforced lanyard holes for jobsite safety.
