National Flooring Equipment,  an industrial-quality floor removal and surface preparation equipment manufacturer, has announced its acquisition of another manufacturer. This is expected to benefit both companies and improve development and expansion.

National Flooring Equipment has added an internationally known manufacturer to its portfolio: Syntec Diamond Tools. Syntec will remain its own entity and continue to provide service. Its global reach, industry insights, and inventory power will continue to grow, with a bit of National’s help; but more as an emerging industry leader, never relenting on the cornerstone of putting the customer first.

Since its founding in 1968, National Flooring Equipment has grown from a Minnesota-based family operation to having 50 patents and a loyal customer base across the globe that it continues to cultivate through product innovation and expansion. Through distribution in Europe under the Lord & James brand, the company's goal is to bring Syntec tooling to European markets.

Established in 1994, Syntec Diamond Tools is an Australian floor industry tooling manufacturer. Syntec manufactures saw blades, core drills, diamond tooling, and other surface prep accessories. Syntec is known for its consistent quality through rigorous R&D and product testing. National Flooring Equipment is committed to retaining Syntec's brand integrity while providing additional resources for growth.

Each brand will retain its operations and teams in their respective markets, while National Flooring Equipment invests in the resources Syntec needs to propel the brand forward globally. With the partnership in place, National Flooring and Syntec hope to see an increase in product crossover while also providing improved operational support for their customers.

"Syntec will remain its own entity and continue to provide the incredible service it is known for. Its global reach, industry insights, and inventory power will continue to grow, with a bit of National's help; but more as an emerging industry leader, never relenting on the cornerstone of putting the customer first," said Derek Olson, CEO of National Flooring Equipment.

National Flooring Equipment will introduce Syntec Diamond Tools to the European market at Bauma 2025. They can be found in the A1 Hall of Messe München exhibition center in Munich, Germany at Booth #413.
