CMAA Appoints Kevin Watkins President and CEO

Watkins will lead CMAA's strategic planning, member engagement and response to emerging construction technologies and workforce needs.

Construction Management Association of America (CMAA)

The Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) has appointed Kevin D. Watkins as president and CEO, effective Nov. 16.

Watkins currently serves as chief operating officer of the American Institute of Architects. He previously held leadership roles with the National Apartment Association, American Institute of Physics and National Association of REALTORS®.

In his new role, Watkins will oversee CMAA's strategic plan, strengthen member engagement and address emerging technologies and workforce needs affecting construction management.

He succeeds Interim President and CEO David Leckey.
