PLH Group, Inc. announced its acquisition of R.B. Hinkle Construction, Inc., effective May 2, 2014. With headquarters in Sterling, Va., R.B. Hinkle provides comprehensive underground utility infrastructure services across the Mid-Atlantic region In addition to underground installation work, R.B. Hinkle delivers maintenance solutions to service existing underground utility lines for some of the largest energy delivery companies in the region.
"PLH has further expanded its geographic reach in North America with the acquisition of R.B. Hinkle, which will broaden our capabilities to deliver safety-focused underground infrastructure services to the electric utility industry," said Mark Crowson, PLH President and CEO. R.B. Hinkle will be an operating unit of PLH's Electric Infrastructure Services segment, and its current senior management and employees will remain in place.
