FHWA Issues Federal-Aid Highway Funding by State

On Mar. 11, FHWA issued Notice N4520.259 to distribute $36.6 billion in federal-aid highway funding to the states. Subsequently, on Mar. 15, FHWA issued Notice N510.835, giving state DOTs an additional $3.2 billion in federal-aid highway funding from the general fund, as appropriated in the FY 2019 appropriations act. State DOTs have until Sept. 30, 2022 to obligate the additional $3.2 billion.
