While the 2021 Pavement Top Contractors showed their commitment to the industry even through the adversity COVID threw at us, the 2022 Pavement Top Contractors prove that you can come out even stronger when you persevere.
With that, we have good news and bad news about the 2022 Top Contractor lists. We will start with the bad news first.
This year, the 10th year we have compiled these lists, we had a significant drop in the number of companies who completed the Top Contractor nomination form. When less people enter, we can't celebrate as many contractors. This year we had to drop from showcasing the Top 75 contractors in each industry segment (paving, striping, sealcoating & pavement repair) to the Top 50.
This means a lot of companies who qualified for the list last year, won't be listed on the pages of this issue. That sucks for them and for us. We look forward to celebrating your hard work on these lists and want all of you to know that we appreciate your dedication. Thank you to those of you who did fill out the lists and make sure you tell all your friends to enter next year so we can be back up to Top 75 - or dare I say 100?
Now on to the good news. Figures from the 2022 Top Contractor entries show an incredible leap in profits, even with 25 less companies on the list. We break down everything from profit margins to clients here so make sure you check them out.
