The North American Power Sweeping Association has recently announced its upcoming webinar entitled "Tips and Tools for Estimating a Profitable Parking Lot Contract." This 60-minute webinar will be held on September 1, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. EDT. Anyone involved in the sweeping industry is encouraged to register.
Carl Barton, NAPSA president and owner of Aardvark Sweeping Services, Memphis, TN, will be the speaker for this educational session.
Barton built his business from the ground up beginning in 1996 and has experience in all areas of operation. When asked why he chose this topic, Barton said, "This is the information I wish someone had shared with me years ago. I receive several calls a year from sweeping companies requesting advice. The universal question from all of them is covered in this webinar. It doesn't matter if you are a beginning sweeper or a seasoned veteran, this webinar will have value for your company. Iron sharpens iron and it is the same with open minded business people."
Barton said his webinar will cover a variety of estimating-related topics including:
- Mistakes often made when submitting an estimate
- Myths about estimating
- How to develop a strategy
- Estimating tools you can use
In addition to the hour-long presentation Barton and NAPSA will offer 15 minutes of Q&A from those attending.
Participating in a webinar is easy and can be done from the comfort of your office or home. All you need is an Internet connection to view the presentation and computer speakers or a phone line for the audio portion. Instructions will be sent to you once you are registered.
Do you have other employees that would benefit from this information? Why not let them sit in on it as well? By registering you can have your whole company participate for the price of one registration. Gather everyone around the computer or show it in a conference room.
