The MHT 1490 will be the first Manitou telehandler powered by a Mercedes Tier 4 Final engine. The four-cylinder, 5.13-L diesel generates 176 hp and 553 ft. lb. of torque, and satisfies exhaust-emission regulations with exhaust gas recirculation and selective catalytic reduction, requiring addition of diesel exhaust fluid.
