Caterpillar expanded its Home and Outdoor Power product line with the INV2000, a new portable inverter generator that Cat says produces 12.5% more running watts (1,800 watts) than leading competitors. With 2,250 watts starting, the 49-lb. generator can power camping essentials as well as small to mid-sized power tools. Caterpillar will also offer a parallel kit, enabling users to connect two INV2000 units together to double power output.
