SCANGRIP has launched its 10,000-lumen AREA 10 CONNECT floodlight for the North American market, expanding access to its LED work light lineup.
The light uses SCANGRIP’s CONNECT system, which works with most major 18V/20V power tool batteries through a brand-specific adapter. It also runs directly on the METABO/CAS 18V platform.
The AREA 10 CONNECT delivers uniform, flicker-free illumination with a 6,000K color temperature and five dimming levels. The unit can switch between 360-degree and 180-degree lighting and can be controlled via Bluetooth through the SCANGRIP app.
Designed for jobsite use, the light features reinforced plastic housing and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. It operates in temperatures from -10°C to 40°C. Runtime depends on the battery used, and a built-in backup battery offers about 50 minutes at 1,000 lumens.
Weighing 8.1 pounds, the light includes a carrying handle, hook and tripod compatibility.
