Genie has expanded its Lift Guard Zone Lighting option to the GR Runabout vertical mast lift line.
The system uses red laser lights to project a visible boundary about 2 feet from the lift's chassis at ground level. The boundary helps operators identify clearance around the machine and alerts nearby workers when they are entering the lift's operating area.
The lighting option is intended for congested indoor environments where multiple trades may work near access equipment. Applications include data centers, hospitals, warehouses, airports and other facilities where compact lifts are used for installation and maintenance work.
The GR Runabout lifts are designed for indoor access and can maneuver through tight spaces, standard doorways and passenger elevators. Zone Lighting adds a visual perimeter without changing the lift's compact footprint.
The option is available globally as a factory-installed feature or aftermarket retrofit kit for equipment owners and rental companies.
