Mack Trucks is giving highway fleets a choice. With the launch of the all-new Pioneer and all-new Anthem, the company is offering two purpose-built models that share premium features but serve different operational priorities.
The Pioneer is geared toward long-haul operations where fuel efficiency takes center stage. Its extended aerodynamic profile can cut fuel use by up to 11% compared with earlier Mack models, making it well-suited for fleets running high mileage. For drivers spending long stretches on the road, the Pioneer also offers an exclusive 76-inch high-roof sleeper with a flexible living-space design.
The Anthem, by contrast, focuses on maneuverability and visibility. Its shorter cab length improves sightlines by about 12 feet compared with longer models, a key advantage in urban delivery routes, ports and other tight spaces. Despite its compact design, the Anthem still improves fuel efficiency by up to 10% over its predecessor.
While the two trucks emphasize different strengths, they share the same premium cab dimensions, comfort features and advanced safety technology. Both come standard with Mack’s automated manual transmission, Mack Protect driver-assistance system, and digital tools like Mack Connect telematics and the MyMack driver app.
The Pioneer is available now, while production of the Anthem begins in early 2026. Together, the pair marks the first time in Mack’s history that customers can choose between two ground-up highway models tailored to their operational needs.
