Ford is recalling 1,673 F-650 SD and F-750 SD trucks manufactured from May 12 to July 22 of this year because they are at risk for suddenly stalling.
The Cummins ISB or ISL engines in these Super Duty work trucks may have been equipped with Fleetguard UFF-XT fuel filters (part number FF63009). Their filter shell is at risk of separating from the fuel filter nut plate, causing the engine to stall without warning, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
