Wolverine, Metallica Scholars Launch New Workwear Collection Supporting Skilled Trades Education

The new limited-edition boot and apparel collection supports workforce education and skilled trades training programs.

Wolverine has launched its 2026 Wolverine x Metallica Scholars Collection in partnership with the Metallica Scholars Initiative, continuing efforts to support workforce education and skilled trades training programs across the U.S.

The limited-edition collection includes a Maker Wedge work boot and graphic T-shirt, with 50% of proceeds benefiting the initiative, which supports community college programs focused on welding, advanced manufacturing, electrical work and other trades.

The partnership is part of Wolverine's broader Project Bootstrap initiative, through which the company has contributed nearly $3 million to organizations supporting skilled trades education.

The boot includes reflective leather panels, red interior detailing and a metallic sole graphic, while the T-shirt was designed by artist Michelle Harvey, also known as WolfSkullJack.

Since 2019, Wolverine and Metallica’s foundation, All Within My Hands, have released multiple co-branded collections supporting the Metallica Scholars Initiative, which provides funding to workforce education programs in all 50 states.
