After a long saga, two demolition contractors involved in a deadly 2013 Philadelphia building collapse have been sentenced to prison.

Demolition subcontractor sean Benschop, who was operating heavy machinery after taking Percocet and marijuana for medical reasons the day of the collapse, has been sentenced to 7.5 to 15 years in prison. Co-defendant Griffin Campbell, the contractor responsible for gutting the building and destabilizing it, has been sentenced to 15 to 20 years in prison.

Both men were convicted of similar crimes including involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault and causing a catastrophe. Campbell was acquitted of third-degree murder.
