Cortex Composites, Inc. supplies a proprietary rollable cement product. It's delivered to a construction site in rolls and then hydrated in place to harden. It is classified as a Geosynthetic Cementitous Composite Mat (ASTM: GCCM). Once hydrated the product achieves a strength of over 7,000 PSI compressive strength. The product is priced under current alternative construction methods poured concrete and shotcrete. The product is used for canal lining, ditch lining, slope protection, erosion control, pond and lagoon lining, and remediation applications.
