Dynapac has announced its return to the 16-ton asphalt roller category with the launch of the all-new CC7000 VI, the heaviest asphalt roller in the world. With an operating weight exceeding 32,000 lbs., the CC7000 VI sets a new benchmark for power, performance, and durability. The machine will make its official debut at ConExpo 2026, expanding Dynapac’s industry-leading asphalt roller lineup.

Built for the most demanding large-scale applications, the CC7000 VI is engineered to deliver exceptional compaction results while maximizing productivity. Equipped with Dynapac’s patented Seismic Asphalt technology, the roller automatically adjusts vibration frequency in real time based on material stiffness—ensuring optimal compaction, reduced energy consumption, and lower operating costs while operator comfort is enhanced from less shaking and less noise.

“Dynapac is excited to reenter the 16-ton classification with a machine that pushes the boundaries of performance and efficiency,” said Eric Booth, Product Marketing Manager – Compaction. “The CC7000 VI reflects our commitment to innovation and to delivering equipment that meets today’s toughest jobsite requirements.”

Robust Design Inspired by Proven Legacy Machines

The CC7000 VI is built on Dynapac’s decades of compaction expertise, drawing design inspiration from legendary models such as the CC722 and CC7200, as well as the company’s highperformance soil rollers. Its newly engineered drums offer one of the highest static linear loads in the market—up to 211 pli—ensuring the roller can withstand the harshest application conditions with ease.

Operator-Focused Efficiency

Like all Dynapac asphalt rollers, the CC7000 VI is designed with the operator in mind. The intuitive operator station features a rotating and sliding seat with controls and display that move seamlessly with the operator, offering excellent visibility and ergonomic operation throughout the compaction process. A large-capacity water tank further enhances productivity by minimizing refill downtime.

Seismic Asphalt: Dynapac’s Patented Technology

Dynapac’s Seismic Asphalt, a patented technology, is available on tandem, oscillation, and pivot-steer asphalt rollers—remains the only system on the market that automatically harmonizes vibration frequency with the natural frequency of the asphalt layer. Key benefits include:

  • Improved compaction quality
  • Reduced fuel consumption
  • Lower CO emissions
  • Extended machine life
  • Reduced operator adjustments

This patented innovation contributes to a more sustainable, consistent, and cost-effective road-building workflow.
