Chryso has introduced its Eco Dust product line in North America, expanding its offerings for construction, quarry, mining and industrial applications.
The dust suppression products are designed as alternatives to traditional calcium chloride treatments commonly used on unpaved roads, stockpiles and jobsites. According to the company, the new formulations are non-corrosive and intended to help reduce airborne dust while improving jobsite visibility and safety.
The product range includes Chryso Dust Primer, a short-term dust suppression solution designed for low-traffic and environmentally sensitive areas, and Chryso Eco Dust 100, a longer-term treatment intended for demanding applications such as gravel roads, construction sites and industrial operations.
Chryso said the products use biodegradable polymers to bind fine particles at the surface and help stabilize unpaved areas. The formulations are water-soluble, VOC-free and UV resistant.
According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, fugitive dust emissions from construction and industrial activity can contribute to local air quality concerns.
