Gencor’s cloud-based NiteVu system is a powerful tool for facility managers that allows monitoring of heater and asphalt tank functions, including critical conditions, remotely from any smartphone or internet device.
The system monitors, burner functions, and temperatures, delivering alarms and data logs from various equipment sensors. NiteVu takes the burden out of managing your tank farm by giving you access to your readings from anywhere in the world using a simple, powerful web-based interface.
Equipment issues are detected before they lead to costly failures, helping to ensure continuous uptime and reducing disruptions. If there’s a disruption, you’ll be the first to know. Alerts can be sent straight to your mobile device—keeping you updated and giving you peace-of-mind wherever you are.
Design
The NiteVu remote monitoring system stores all sensor readings in the cloud, which provides unlimited information storage. Multiple devices can be managed from one account using intuitive web-based management tools with an unlimited number of user profiles. Programmable alarm levels alert the user if limits are exceeded. Enhanced data logging capabilities allows users to print, graph or export accurate historical records.
The NiteVu system can also produce event reports as well as generate an audit trail of all user data activities, edits or deletions. Real-time monitoring and alert features detect early warning signs of equipment malfunctions. The powerful monitoring system also identifies changes in conditions of the burner and fluid temperature. NiteVu uses a cellular connection so internet access is not required which is especially usefeul for remote locations. NiteVu can send an E-Mail, Text Message, or Voice Phone Call to alert users via ATT or Verizon cellular service.
Application
Thermal Fluid Heaters and Liquid asphalt storage tanks are typically equipped with devices such as burner flame scanners, thermocouples, pressure transducers and limit switches to control the heating processes.
The NiteVu remote monitoring system takes the signals from the devices and inputs them to a powerful software application that monitors these signals and their settings. Any failures or excess limits immediately triggers NiteVu to alert the user or users sequentially.
NiteVu is designed to be mounted to any conventional thermal fluid heater or asphalt tank equipped with standard electrical connections. The NiteVu monitoring device is completely self-contained in a NEMA weather-proof enclosure.
