Tomahawk Power has partnered with Tern Fan-Cooled Workwear for its launch at World of Concrete 2026. The new apparel is designed to help workers stay cooler and safer on jobsites with high temperatures.
Extreme heat is an increasing risk on construction sites. The U.S. Department of Labor reports that from 2011 to 2019, 436 workers died from heat exposure, and thousands more missed work due to heat-related illness.
Tern garments use low-profile fans to circulate air under the fabric, reducing heat buildup and fatigue. A rechargeable battery provides hours of steady airflow, while reinforced materials withstand dust and debris. The lightweight design aims to improve comfort and safety without adding bulk or noise.
