One person was killed and another injured when a crane tipped over at a Wisconsin bridge construction site Thursday morning, authorities said.
Concrete precaster Spancrete confirms that one of its drivers, Joseph R. Bidler of Green Bay, Wis., was killed in the accident.
The crane's operator is said to have sustained serious injuries. The operator is employed by Lunda Construction Co., based in Black River Falls, Wis.
The crane was lifting a beam for the U.S. 41 Butte des Morts bridge near Oshkosh.
